The Old Maid and the Thief - Songs for Children’s first operetta production was Menotti’s hilarious one act romp about the adventures of a spinster and her maid when they take in a vagabond, Bob, and both fall in love with him.
Someone Saved My Life Tonight: A Tribute to Elton John - This Elton John themed concert included a brilliant cast and crew of high school and college performers. With its beautiful covers of Elton John’s hits and featuring some priceless singing and dancing, Songs for Children’s first concert in the park was a family-friendly extravaganza.
Say Goodbye to Hollywood: A concert for the Classics - Our first concert in Southern California was held in Jeanette MacDonald Recital Hall and honored the late opera-lover and music connoisseur Sherifa Herrawi, founderMariam Helmy's grandmother. This production featured cast and crew from USC and a catered dinner to accompany the music.
